The wind rushed past you, pulling at your hair and stinging your eyes, the sun rising high in the sky. Your heart thudded in your chest and something in your mind told you that the sun was definitely NOT just a warm ball of light to you anymore. Swiftly maneuvering through the trees you stayed low and out of the sun's reach while maintaining a speed to keep you away from Slenderman until you figured out what to do. Since your instincts were keeping you going you raged to yourself in your head 'Great! Just F***ING GREAT! Of course you would end up in a situation like this! How- what am I?! This is the weirdest day of my life and I've had some screwed up d- oh s**t!'

Suddenly you were pulled to a halt, wings straining against the force that entangled your ankle. You knew immediately that Slenderman had caught you but the timing! Just a few feet from a small cave, the sun burning into your back with an intense heat. Slenderman pinned you to the ground and stood over you although he did not block away the sun. You shielded your eyes with your arms and you felt the skin start to melt, fear engulfed you as did the sun. In confusion Slenderman let go of his grip and watched you crawl into the little cave, barely getting out of the dangerous light. Now you were truly scared and near hysterical, awkwardly tucking your wings in behind you as you began to sob softly. You felt the heat die away some but your skin was still scarred and very sore. That strange voice came in behind you "Are you alright?"

The voice was smooth and flawless, the voice of none other than Slenderman, who peered into the cave cautiously. He tilted his head to the side in a questioning manner but he was tense like he was ready for anything. Your gut told you to ignore him or make him go away but you instead looked over yourself "Well, no. Not really." you remarked honestly, the tears still falling down your face "Uh, so how are you doing today?"

A small laugh escaped you wringing pain through your body but you shoved it down when Slenderman laughed as well "I guess I'm doing better than you are."

Slenderman moved to the side so he kept the sun off of the little cave like hole and you stared at each other for a moment of strange silence. You finally composed yourself enough to continue the conversation. "How did all that happen? I mean, the fire thing was pretty cool and so are these wings but why can't I touch the sun's rays? And when I was fighting something took a hold of me and I-" you sighed "I just started to loose myself. Everything I had collapsed in on me and all I could think of was finding somewhere dark to go, to hide and wait for the night to come. I even felt like I had to kill all of you so I could get to that peaceful place but I let my instincts take over and well here we are. Do you know what's happening?"

He didn't move. He stood there and thought. You were starting to loose it again but then you heard Hoodie and BEN calling out to you and Slenderman, no there were more than that. Everyone was searching for you two. Lightly you tugged on Slenderman's hand "Can you hear them?"

Slenderman looked at you with the same questioning stare "Hmm? Hear what?"

Your heart started to pound again and you slowly lifted a hand to your ear, pushing the stray hairs away. This day just got even weirder, you touched the tip of an elf ear. Now you'll be hearing endless BEN look a like jokes for as long as you live, however long that may be now. Slenderman crouched down to your level "I cannot hear what you can hear but I can tell you that something is definitely going to happen to you, good or bad you must accept it. If it happens to be the latter I will help you through it but let's hope for the best shall we?"

You nodded and Slenderman picked you up, bridal style, bringing you close to his chest so you were cloaked from the sun as well as possible, only the tips of your wings were being singed but you didn't mind. Wrapping your arms around Slenderman you held on tightly so you had less of a chance of falling. The rocking motion of walking lulled you to the brink of sleep but you tried to fight it, desperate to stay awake for fear that you may not wake up. You felt a hand stroke your hair "Sleep (your name), you need your rest."

With that you gladly put your head on Slenderman's chest, nodding off within seconds.

Voices. They cut into the quiet abyss of your sleep but you did not wake nor did you really rest. You floated above yourself and watched what was happening.

Slenderman had brought you into the house and set you on the couch in the living room. Jeff pointed at you and yelled "What the f*** is she doing back here?! Just get rid of her!"

"No." Slenderman replied firmly "She is here for a reason even if we don't know why just yet."

BEN poked at your ears "Hey look! I bet she's related to me!" he then messed with one of your wings "I'd love to get a skin sample of this, her DNA would be so cool to look at under a microscope."

Everyone stared at BEN and he shrugged "What?"

Jack examined your burns and turned to Slenderman "How did this happen Slender?"

Slenderman gestured outside "After I caught her she fell in full view of the sun and that happened. Don't ask me too many questions, I still don't know what we're dealing with."

Masky and Hoodie stood off to the side but pushed their way over to you when Smile came in with the medical supplies. He set them down by you and licked at your hand "Oh, I hope you'll be okay." he whined.

Jeff snorted "Stupid dog. I bet she's dead already!"

Smile snapped at Jeff "Why don't you shut up and leave her alone!"

Jeff stabbed a knife into the wall and left the room. Masky and Hoodie worked hard to treat your burned skin, the only thing that hadn't healed. Odd, only the burns didn't heal but your hand and leg were both fine...

Slenderman locked on the corner in which you had been floating and jumped over to your body on the couch, scaring Masky "Whoa! What's wrong?" Masky asked.

Slenderman put the side of his head close to your chest and listened "No." he said quietly "There's no heartbeat!"

He threw his hands in the air and searched for something, anything. Hoodie checked your pulse and came to the same conclusion, putting the entire room into a panic. What was going on? You were right here! In... in the corner.
